iPhone & iPad
Safari, iOS / iPadOS 16.4 or newer.
- Open
tetracom.me/appin Safari. - Tap the Share button (the square with an up-arrow).
- Choose “Add to Home Screen”, then Add.
- Launch Tetracom from the new home-screen icon.
Android
Chrome (or any Chromium browser).
- Open
tetracom.me/appin Chrome. - Tap the “Install app” prompt if it appears…
- …or open the browser menu (⋮) and choose “Install app” / “Add to Home screen”.
- Launch Tetracom from your app drawer / home screen.
Desktop
Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
- Open
tetracom.me/appin Chrome or Edge. - Click the install icon in the address bar (a monitor / down-arrow on the right side).
- Click Install. Tetracom opens in its own window.
Android appAPK
The native Android client, distributed as an APK during the prototype (no Play Store listing yet).
How to install the APK
- Tap Download the Android APK above on your Android phone.
- Open the downloaded
tetracom.apkfile. - If prompted, allow your browser to “install unknown apps”, then tap Install.
- Open Tetracom from your app drawer.
SMS Gatewayoptional
A separate, optional companion app that lets one Android phone send ordinary text messages on your behalf. Most people never need it — install it only if you want a dedicated handset acting as an SMS sender.
How to install
- Install it on the phone that will send the texts — that phone also needs the Tetracom app above, and its SIM sends the messages.
- Open the downloaded
tetracom-sms-gateway.apkand tap Install. - Open the Gateway app and grant the SMS permission when asked.
- Copy the bearer token shown in the Gateway app, then paste it into Tetracom under Settings → SMS gateway on the same phone, along with the user ID you want to accept SMS jobs from.
- Turn on SMS forwarding in those same Tetracom settings.
