One-time setup

  1. Tetracom → gear → Connection → Stay connected when phone is locked → ON.
  2. Android Settings → Apps → Tetracom → App battery usage → Unrestricted.

Two steps — Pixel 7 follows the standard stock Android contract, like the Pixel 8.

Pixel 7 notes

The Pixel 7’s Tensor G2 has well-known thermal-management issues under sustained load that some reviewers reported. Tetracom’s usage profile is light enough that none of those affect it — the keepalive is essentially free CPU-wise, and PTT recording is brief by definition.

All Pixel 7 variants (7, 7 Pro, 7a) behave identically for Tetracom.
