The A54 is a mid-range Galaxy running the same One UI 6 as the S23 / S24 — same battery-optimization menus, same setup steps. The only A-series-specific note: A-series Galaxies have less RAM than flagships, so MIUI-style memory pressure is more likely to suspend background apps under heavy multitasking.

One-time setup

  1. Tetracom → gear → Connection → Stay connected when phone is locked → ON.
  2. Settings → Apps → Tetracom → Battery → Allow background activity → ON.
  3. Settings → Apps → Tetracom → Battery → Battery usage → Unrestricted.
  4. Settings → Battery and device care → Battery → Background usage limits → Never sleeping apps → + Add → Tetracom.
  5. Battery → More battery settings → Adaptive battery → OFF.

A54-specific note: heavy multitasking

The A54 has 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM (vs 8-12 GB on S-series). Under memory pressure One UI may evict the Tetracom process even with the foreground service running — the OS can’t refuse if the user has 30+ apps active. Symptom: the persistent “Tetracom is listening” notification disappears, then re-appears when you next open the app.

Workaround: keep your active-app count under ~15 if you need truly always-on Tetracom on the A54. Or upgrade to an S-series. This is a hardware limit, not a Tetracom bug.
