Tetracom Help — Galaxy S23 / S23+ / S23 Ultra / S23 FE
SM-S911 / S916 / S918 / S711 — One UI 6, Android 14The S23 family runs One UI 6 (post-update; original shipped with One UI 5.1). Menu paths are the same as the S24 with minor wording differences.
One-time setup
- Tetracom → gear → Connection → Stay connected when phone is locked → ON.
- Settings → Apps → Tetracom → Battery → Allow background activity → ON.
- Settings → Apps → Tetracom → Battery → Battery usage (note: the wording on One UI 6 was “Optimise battery usage” on One UI 5.1) → Unrestricted.
- Settings → Battery and device care → Battery → Background usage limits → Never sleeping apps → + Add apps → Tetracom → Add.
- Confirm Tetracom is NOT in Sleeping apps or Deep sleeping apps under the same menu.
- Battery and device care → Battery → More battery settings → Adaptive battery → OFF.
One UI 5.1 (original S23 shipping software): The Battery menu was nested under Battery and device care rather than promoted to top-level — otherwise identical to One UI 6. If you haven’t updated past One UI 5.1, the path is Settings → Battery and device care → Battery instead of Settings → Battery.
S23-specific notes
- S23 FE — any difference?
- None for Tetracom — same battery menus, same foreground service behavior.
- S23 Ultra Edge panels — can I add a Tetracom shortcut?
- Not yet. Tetracom doesn’t register an edge-panel widget. Use the home-screen icon.
