A contact can ask for your location. With Ask every time, Tetracom does not share automatically — it shows you a prompt, and nothing is sent unless you tap Share once for that specific request. It is the careful counterpart to leaving location sharing always on for someone.

When someone asks for your location
When a contact requests your location, a prompt appears telling you who is asking. You have two choices:
- Share once — sends a single, current location to just that person, this one time.
- Deny — sends nothing.
Share once
Tapping Share once captures your location right then and sends it back to the person who asked — and only them. It answers their request specifically. It does not turn on any ongoing sharing: the next time they ask, you will be asked again.
Deny
Tapping Deny sends no location at all. The person simply does not receive a position. You never have to explain — declining is always your right.
Privacy
- Nothing is shared without your tap. A request on its own never reveals where you are — only your explicit Share once does.
- One request, one share. Share once answers a single request; it does not start continuous sharing.
- End-to-end encrypted. When you do share, your location is encrypted just for the person who asked, exactly like any other message.
